Exchange
Exchange is a vibrant program from South Fulton Institute that masterfully blends art, culture, and community. As part of the broader Courageous Conversations initiative, Exchange is designed to break down barriers and build bridges through shared artistic experiences.
Two to three times a year, we bring together a diverse selection of artists for an enriching evening of entertainment and learning.
Audiences witness their creative process firsthand through enlightening demonstrations that inspire and educate. Our inaugural Exchange in June 2023, skillfully guided by Shannon Turner of StoryMuse, delved into the art of story mapping and storytelling. The impact was meaningful to the participants, fostering growth and connection among numerous artists and SFI partners, empowering them to confidently tell their own stories.
This innovative program welcomes artists and community members to come together, share their stories, and engage in meaningful dialogues. Exchange serves as a communal platform where art becomes the universal language, connecting individuals regardless of their background or experience. From captivating performances to interactive workshops and engaging artist talks, each event cultivates a dynamic atmosphere of learning, appreciation, and community bonding.
