SOLANA RAMÍREZ-GARCÍA | PARTNER RESOURCE MANAGER

Joining the team at SFI represents another milestone in Solana's journey to creating a better and more beautiful world. Originally from Uruguay, she moved to the States in 2011, briefly in Texas before living in Milwaukee, WI for almost a decade. There she obtained her Bachelors in Musical Theatre, leading to a professional career as an actress whilst simultaneously entering the music industry as a producer/singer/songwriter. Her time in both industries unveiled to her the inherent limitations within each realm, and the urgent need of transformative change. In 2019 Solana moved to Atlanta in search of community and professional growth.

In 2020 she entered the non-profit sector, co-founding her own organization empowering Queer and Femme music makers in Atlanta. Solana has since strived to combine the arts and community building in her everyday life and is excited to work with South Fulton Institute to further her mission and continue making a meaningful impact. Solana proudly resides in the West End of Atlanta.
