Mandisha Thomas

State Representative Mandisha A. Thomas was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2020, and she currently serves on the Agriculture & Consumer Affairs, Industry and Labor and Information and Audits committees. As a 15-year resident, business owner and healthcare industry expert, she has become well-known to community residents and has long worked on programs to better her community.. In 2018 and 2019, she served as a legislative aide for the Georgia General Assembly and was also a key team member behind the South Fulton’s city-hood efforts.  She is the founder of the Georgia Environmental Justice Education and Awareness Symposium, the Apple Day Mobile Unit Health Fair of Georgia and the 2021 Intellectual Summit of South Fulton County. Rep. Thomas also has served on the boards of several organizations, including Market 166 Co-Op and Grocery Kitchen, Meadow Glen Subdivision and the South Fulton Food Policy Council. She is also an active member of South Fulton’s Cliftondale Community Club and a post-seat holder for the Fulton County Democratic Party.  Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration in Political Science from Grambling State University and a Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
