Charles Stephens is an Atlanta-based writer. His stories have appeared in Lumiere Review, Isele Magazine, Queerlings, and BULL. He's an alum of the Tin House and VONA writing workshops.  His work has been supported by the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP), Roots.Wounds.Words, and Periplus. This winter he will be a Fulton County Arts & Culture Fellow at the Hambidge Center. In addition to writing, Charles is the Founder and Executive Director of the Counter Narrative Project (CNP).
